A Hidden Italian Gem in LA If you're searching for the best Italian food in Los Angeles, look no further than Colori Kitchen. Nestled just outside Koreatown, this family-owned Italian restaurant is an absolute treasure. The warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the no corkage fee policy for bringing your own wine adds an extra layer of charm and affordability. The menu? Simply outstanding. Their lasagna is hands-down the best I've had - rich layers of perfectly cooked pasta, savory meat sauce, and a heavenly blend of cheeses that melt in your mouth. Another must-try is the cioppino, a seafood lover's dream packed with fresh fish, shrimp, clams, and more in a robust tomato broth that will leave you mopping up every last drop with their incredible garlic bread. Speaking of which, the garlic bread at Colori Kitchen deserves a review of its own. It's the perfect balance of crispy, chewy, and loaded with a house-made garlic spread that will have you dreaming about it long after the meal is over. For something a little different, the trancio di calamari is also a standout. The tender calamari is cooked to perfection and seasoned just right, leaving you savoring every bite. In a city full of Italian options, Colori Kitchen truly stands out as the best in LA, and its family-owned roots add to the authenticity and care behind every dish. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is a spot that should be at the top of your list!

My boyfriend and I had dinner date here this week. We were browsing around the neighborhood and ended up at this nice Italian restaurant. The owner was super lovely and took great care of us. Their carbonara and their vegetable soup was delicious as was their Panna Cotta! Great & safe area with great parking! Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who's craving authentic Italian food.

Let me start by saying--I've been to Italy more times than I care to admit (seriously, my pasta passport is practically full). I've also been a frequent visitor to this restaurant, even back when it was downtown. They had a great bring-your-own-bottle policy, which I believe they still offer--a fantastic perk. Now, about the food. If you're anything like me and could happily live on pasta for a week straight, this place will hit the spot. The taste is as authentic as it gets without hopping on a plane to Italy, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable. Plus, they give you a 20% discount if you do takeout--who doesn't love a good deal? The portions are not humongous, but generous, especially for those of us used to American-sized meals. Think McDonald's large set meets a European Italian restaurant (but with actual flavor). The portions might be smaller than Olive Garden or Buca di Beppo, but the quality here is on a whole different level. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with an ambience that makes you want to linger a little longer. If you're looking for a spot that's a feast for both your eyes and your taste buds, this is the place to be.

I'm truly happy that Colori Kitchen continues to thrive, even after moving locations. I started patronising the erstwhile downtown location in 2010. Their food and service has been consistently excellent. I have always apprecited the no-corkage-fee BYOW policy - it's so lovely to pop in with a favourite bottle of wine to enjoy with a quality Italian meal. The sauces are flavourful, the bread is soft and tasty, the pasta is fresh and delicious. I've always been there when it's packed, but it's never obnoxiously noisy and service is always friendly and efficient, no matter how busy it is. I describe Colori as a "hole in the wall", but I mean it affectionately - and I have recommended them to countless friends over the years as one of the best Italian spots in L.A. It's cosy, high-quality, and the perfect spot for a date night or outing with a group of friends.

In the videos are a side of meatballs, spaghetti Al pesto, and ravioli di zucca! It was all SO amazing! You gotta try it if you want authentic Italian. So cute!

I absolutely love the ambiance of this cute place ! It's a homey vibe like you're eating at a friends house and the owner is a treat! Her personality and service are top tier! I was greeted pleasantly, seated promptly and had fresh bread, ice water, and utensils in front of me in no time! I already knew I wanted soup and pasta so I ordered tortilla soup and the carbonara pasta! It was so delicious and authentic! The flavor was there!! I had a wonderful dining experience and can't wait to come back and check out the other dishes! This place is in a nice safe neighborhood with a small parking lot attached ! Easy to find hard to want to leave !

So nice to know that some of your all time favorite restaurants still maintain and upkeep the same quality and consistency throughout all of these years. It was my first time at this new relocation, which is a thousand times better than their dtla location in the past. My friend and I dropped by for dinner a few nights ago and she knew I was hungry since I am eating for two. We ordered the caesar salad, lasagna, spaghetti arrabiata, and the sole fish. Everything was sooooo scrumptious. My friend was so impressed because she's only gotten takeout Colori before. The lasagna here is my husband's favorite lasagna of all time so of course I had to order another order to go (which is 20% off for takeout!!! Awesome!). The highlight of the meal was both the food and Paola who I had the pleasure of meeting. We got to chitchat and she made us laugh so hard we definitely had the best dining experience all around. Thanks Colori for being steadfast! Hope you continue to thrive and be the awesome dining establishment and owners that you are!

Live nearby and searched for Italian places on Google Maps. It looked a little hole-in-the-wall from the pics there but 1. It was super easy to find. 2. There's some parking. And 3. It is absolutely homey, quaint, and cozy! It felt very warm (the vibe, not the temperature) We got there right as they opened for dinner. Got to meet the owner and his son and they made us feel like guests in their home. EVERYTHING was delicious. And the portion sizes were just perfect. The free bread was fresh and warm. My dad and I ate through 2 baskets within 5 minutes. We got the Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti Aglio & Olio both with added chicken. They tasted divine. We couldn't resist ordering dessert. The Tiramisu was good but the Flan was absolutely 'perfecto,' as my dad said. The staff were all very polite and customer service was top notch. The owner and his son made sure to chat with all the tables and really seemed to care for their guests. Overall, absolutely blew my expectations out of the water and I will definitely be back!
